Eric grew up in a Christian home. Being with God’s people and hearing the Word of God was a regular part of his life. As a young child, Eric understood his need for Christ because of the sin in his life. Even today, he understands his constant need for Christ. Without Christ, Eric acknowledges that he is nothing, and his life is God’s to do with as He wills.
Eric was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and has lived in North Carolina, New York, Mississippi, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, and Arkansas. He graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Religious Education. He married his wife in October of 1996 in Fort Worth, TX.
After graduating from Seminary, Eric helped found and operate Camp Living Stones, Inc. located in Southeast Tennessee. For 10 years, he served as the camp director. In 2007, his family moved to Mountain Home to serve on staff at First Baptist Church as Recreation Pastor. In 2011, Eric was called to help plant and pastor The River Bible Church.
Jon was born into a family of followers of Jesus Christ. He was raised in church and at the age of 8 years old he was saved. His family has lived in many different places including North Carolina, New York, Mississippi, Texas and Tennessee. He spent most of his childhood in Tallahassee, FL. Although he was saved as a child, it wasn’t until after he graduated from Baylor University that Jon began to grow in his relationship with Christ under the leadership of his pastor at Wildwood Baptist Church in Tennessee.
He married his beautiful wife, Gretchen, in 2001. They have 3 children, Alea, Laurel, and Asa. They moved to Mountain Home, AR in August of 2012 after serving for 13 years as the Camp Director at Camp Living Stones in Englewood, TN. They enjoy being at The River Bible Church and Jon loves serving as the Family Minister. God continues to grow them and they are so blessed to be a part of this body of believers.
It was during Jordan’s junior year of high school that God truly opened Jordan’s eyes to his need of a Savior and to the realization that He WAS that Savior. By God’s mercy and grace He surrounded Jordan with many spiritual “mothers and fathers” to guide and mentor him in the faith. In July of 2010 he married his beautiful bride, Kelsey. Jordan and Kelsey were born and raised in South Arkansas (where the majority of their family remains) and moving was never an option for them. God, in His sovereignty, had other plans! Five years ago He called Jordan and Kelsey to Mountain Home, AR where they have been constantly overwhelmed by the love and encouragement of The River Bible Church family.
Jeanie recognized that Jesus held her heart in the summer before her 8th grade year. She opened the door to His knocking and accepted Him at Falls Creek Baptist Assembly. She grew up in Covington, OK and is still a proud Sooner fan, mostly because of her daddy. His passion for fun and Sooner football found them all tailgating in Norman at most home games!
She married her Junior High sweetheart, Wirt, on August 4, 1978. They have two sons, a daughter and 7 grandchildren.
God called Wirt to ministry after their 7th year of marriage. They moved to Kansas where Wirt received his ministry training. In 1987, they moved to Yates Center, KS where Wirt served as a pastor. They moved to Mountain Home, AR in 2001. Jeanie has worked as a ministry assistant to 5 churches and has a total of 30 years of experience.
Jeanie came to The River Bible Church shortly after it was established. She thought she was going to be a stay-at-home Grammy and volunteer her time one or two days a week but God had other things in mind. She was offered the job of Ministry Assistant and that’s One More Reason why she loves The River Bible Church.
Mike has been married to his wife, Sandy, for 30 years. They have two wonderful daughters, Kelsey and Amelia, and have been blessed to gain a son-in-law, Luke. God brought Mike to Mountain Home in 1968 and he is currently a manager at Carter’s Jewel Chest. Growing up, he can always remember going to church and knowing the “church answers” but had yet to have a healthy understanding on what it truly meant to be a follower of Jesus. After college, marriage, and several attempts at living life his way, he finally came to a point in his life where he knew that he was at the end of his rope. Mike vividly remembers a time when he was driving back from a road trip. God, in His grace and mercy, continually pressed on his heart that Mike needed Christ. It was in that moment when God revealed his need to turn everything over to Christ completely. Mike has always had many prayer warriors over his soul and they were able to see God’s grace in answering their request for God to truly grab his heart! Though he is far from perfect, Mike rests in the truth that Christ will finish in him what He has begun.

David grew up in a small country church in Rodney, AR. He gave his life to Christ at the age of 13 during a revival. After graduating from high school, he went to college but wasn’t involved with God or church for many years. In 1990, he knew that something was missing in his life and it was God. So David became very involved in serving God at a local church and in 2010 God called David to be a part of The River Bible Church.
Wirt McKee is an ordained Minister holding certification through the Oklahoma Southern Baptist Convention and Churches of God in Finlay, Ohio. He was a pastor for 15 years in Yates Center, KS before moving to Mountain Home in 2001. Wirt has a passion for those to not only know Christ but to fall in love with Him. He desires for marriages to be whole and centered on Christ and for those couples to continue to grow closer to Him and each other. Wirt owns and operates Lawns + Services, LLC and works in the business with both of his sons. He is married to Jeanie and they have 3 grown children, Brady and wife Nichole, Kaytie and her husband Ryan, and Cody and his wife Abby. Lonnie Robinson grew up in the small East Arkansas town of DeValls Bluff with a loving family. It wasn’t until his third year of medical school that he came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Realizing that “something was missing” at that point in his outwardly happy and successful life, he decided he just needed to “go to church.” Instead of a short-lived, pacifying comfort for this uneasiness, what he found at church was a boldly-proclaimed message of life and hope that both called for and caused a radical change in every facet of his life. From this point in time, God proved Himself faithful in bringing Lonnie from that place of darkness and despair into the light of true and lasting hope. Nowhere has this been more apparent than in leading him to his wife, Robin, whom he met during his residency in Jonesboro. The couple then moved to Mountain Home on the completion of his residency, where Lonnie joined a local physician group, and they have lived here happily ever since. It was in Mountain Home that they were blessed to become the parents of three wonderful children: Stone, Caroline and Mari Claire and a nephew, Andrew. The Robinsons are also foster parents to little ones and invest their time supporting the Mountain Home Christian Academy, Pregnancy Resource Center, Gamma House Women's Shelter and Baxter County Jail ministry. Lonnie practices family medicine and obstetrics at Regional Family Medicine and Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Will grew up in a Christian family and came to know his Savior, Jesus Christ, at age 10. His family moved from West Virginia to Puerto Rico as Will was entering Junior High school. Will continued to absorb good Biblical teaching while simultaneously living in a very different culture. The family moved to the Houston, TX area where he graduated from High School and attended Texas A&M University studying Electrical Engineering. There he became active at Grace Bible Church and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. While working on his Master’s degree, he was introduced to Michelle in Victoria, TX where she was teaching High School. In 1981, they were married and moved to Vermont. Their sons were born there: twins (Will and Andrew) and later, Danny. Will was active in choir, men’s quartets, and led worship at the Essex Alliance Church while working at IBM building memory chips.
In 1992, Will and Michelle moved with IBM back to Austin, TX where their boys played sports, attended public school, home-schooled, and later attended Hill Country Christian School. Their church home, Hill Country Bible Church, fostered significant spiritual growth for the entire family. And they praise God that each of their boys continued walking closer and closer to Christ through college and beyond and married wonderful Christian ladies. Will and Michelle helped launch two church plants associated with HCBC. In his “spare” time Will completed a Certificate of Biblical Studies from Dallas Seminary.
In 2011, Will “retired” from IBM after 30 years and began working with Cyient. He was then farmed back to the same bunch of folks in Austin building chips. In 2013, Will and Michelle moved to Mountain Home, and they love it! They have been a part of the River Bible Church ever since. Will works remotely and serves on the Worship Team, Elder Board, small groups and has recently taken up a new hobby of beekeeping. Michelle loves gardening, reading, knitting and teaching Children’s Ministry.
