-THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON- Pray then like this...

Dear River Family,

This Sunday, Lord willing, we will begin walking through the prayer that is commonly known as "The Lord's Prayer". Read Matthew 6:9-15

As you read through this section,

Circle in your Bible or make note of the words our, us, and we. Why do you suppose Jesus used these words as opposed to my, me and I? Consider the focus of verses 9-10 compared to verses 11-13. What is the difference?

How has your prayer life changed in the last year?

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.

Grace and Peace,

Eric
