Rejoice in the Lord

What will the church look like in 2022? This question is not really about me or you or a building; this question is about us - the church united in Christ, the church united to Christ. Regardless of what we encounter in 2022, may we be found to be a church united in Christ, rejoicing in the salvation we have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Read Luke 10:17-37 (focusing your attention on Luke 10:17-24)

Take note of the difference between in what the 72 were rejoicing in (verse 17 & 20a) from what Jesus told them to rejoice in (verse 20b) and what He Himself rejoiced in(verses 21-22).

Pray for The River elders as we go on our yearly retreat. Pray that we hear clearly from the Lord.

PRAYER & THANKSGIVING

Pray for Into the Light ministry this month. Pray for God to use them for His kingdom and glory. Pray for wisdom and strength for the leaders. Pray for healing for those they minister to. Pray for God to provide for their every need.
