A Sermon from Romans

For in it (the gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith." - Romans 1:17

-THIS SUNDAY'S TEXT-

Romans 1:16-18 reads - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, 'The righteous shall live by faith.' For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth."

Spend time reading and reflecting on Romans 1 & 2. Wirt McKee will be bringing the message to us this Sunday.

-PRAYER & THANKSGIVING- 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 reads - "When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Let the word of God and the Spirit of God lead you in a time of prayer to our Lord God.
