Weekly Memory Verse: "...For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens." - Hebrews 7:26
Sermon Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 2:21-25
-THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON- Did Jesus ever sin? According to the American Worldview Inventory 2020 survey done by the George Barna group, 44% of American believers think that Jesus sinned.
This creates a huge question in my mind - How is it that almost half of the American believers in the survey believe that Jesus sinned?
These people either don't know the Bible or they don't believe the Bible or their beliefs rest on their thoughts, feelings, and experiences rather than on the Bible.
This Sunday, we look at the perfect character and work of Jesus Christ. In preparation for this Sunday, read Hebrews 7:11-28. How is Jesus characterized in this passage? Did Jesus ever sin? What do you believe? Why do you believe what you believe? Why does it matter?
Looking forward to worshipping and growing in Christ with you this Sunday.
Grace & Peace Eric
