Gospel Living - Obedience to Christ. 5/22/22

Weekly Memory Verse: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever..." - John 14:15-16

Sermon Scripture Reading: John 14:15-17

-THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON-

This Sunday we will continue with our focus on the Single-Mindedness in Gospel Living. Our focus will be on Obedience to Christ. As a church, brothers and sisters in Christ, we are together in fighting for one another to live obedient lives to Christ, for the glory of God, by the power of His Holy Spirit, according to the Word of God.

We will identify a few enemies of gospel living: laziness, legalism, licentiousness, and antinomianism.

The following passages will be helpful in preparation for our time together this Sunday: 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 Romans 6 Colossians 3:1-17

I am looking forward to our time together in the Word and worship. It is my pray that the Lord will grow us up in the maturity of Christ. May it be our desire to walk in obedience to our Lord Jesus, and may the motivation of our hearts be to glorify God in all that we do.

Grace and Peace,

Eric
