Sermon Scripture Reading: John 17:13-19
-THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON-
River Family,
As we look forward to gathering this Sunday to worship Jesus and fellowship as His people, read Matthew 8:28-34. It will be helpful to also read Mark's and Luke's accounts of the same occasion (Mark 5 and Luke 8).
Take note of the different attitudes toward Christ and consider why the attitudes: The demons (possessed men). The people of the city. The men freed from possession of demons.
Read Mark 5:14-17 What was the city's request of Jesus? What was the freed man's request of Jesus? What did Jesus do?
Why did Jesus do what He did?
