In preparation for this Sunday, read Luke 10:17-37.
What is the difference between what the disciples rejoiced in compared to what Jesus rejoiced in?
What is the difference between the lawyer’s question and Jesus’ question?
We face many challenges in life. In this New Year, possibly the greatest challenges we will face will be much different than we would imagine. More than likely it will be a great challenge for us to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind and love others as God has loved us.
Ask God to grow your love for Him and your expression of His love to others.
This Sunday, we will be partaking in the Lord's Supper. Please spend time reflecting on the wonderful work of Christ on the cross. Consider the unity of the body of Christ and seek to restore any conflicts you may have with a brother or sister in Christ prior to the Lord's Supper.
Looking forward to all that God has in store for us in the New Year. May He grow us in our love and trust in Him and our love and unity with one another in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Also, every Sunday morning at 8:20am, our prayer team gather to pray. We meet in the second classroom in the main lobby. Come join us as we seek the Lord and present our requests to Him.
PRAYER & THANKSGIVING
Pray for Into the Light ministry this month. Pray for God to use them for His kingdom and glory. Pray for wisdom and strength for the leaders. Pray for healing for those they minister to. Pray for God to provide for their every need.
