Ruth 3

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.- Matthew 11:28

-THIS SUNDAY'S TEXT- Resting in the Redeemer

Matthew 11:28-30 and Hebrews 4:1-3 will be helpful passages as we approach Ruth 3 this Sunday.

While reading Ruth 3, keep in mind Boaz, the kinsman redeemer, serving as a shadow of Christ, our true Redeemer. Look for the following characteristics of the redeemer:

1. He is a working redeemer in whom we find rest.
2. He is promising redeemer in whom we have hope.
3. He is a patient redeemer in whom we can trust.
4. He is a protecting redeemer in whom we find security.
5. He is a providing redeemer in whom we find sufficient and abundant provision.
6. He is a redeemer who finishes His great work.

-CONSIDER & MEDITATE-

Take some time today to think about Jesus Christ our redeemer and all the blessings we, as believers, have in Him. Ephesians 1 will be helpful in identifying all we have and are in Christ.
