Sunday Sermon - Dec. 6th

Advent Reading: Isaiah 9: 2, 6-7. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6

-THIS SUNDAY'S TEXT-

In preparation for this Sunday, read James 2:14-26.

Verse 22 reads - You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works...

This Sunday, we will be looking at the works of faith in a very familiar and timely passage in Luke. We will see that true faith results in trusting God, submitting to (obeying) God, and rejoicing in God. Read Luke 1:26-55 and see if you can identify these results (works) of true faith.
