-THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON- The Old Testament covenants and prophets have been pointing us to Jesus over the past few Sundays. This Sunday, we will venture into the New Testament as we focus on Jesus. Jesus is the center of the Word, the Word made flesh. He is the center of the gospel - God reconciling the world to Himself through Jesus Christ. Over the next few months, we will focus on Jesus - His birth, His life, His baptism, His temptation, His sinless life, His death and His resurrection.
For preparation for this Sunday, read: Matthew 1:18-25 Luke 1:25-38 Luke 2:1-7
Also read Philippians 2:5-11 & Hebrews 2:14-18.

Caring Canoe Let's fill the Caring Canoe with diapers and wipes for The CALL this month. Help Haiti - bring generic antacids & multivitamins (no gummies). Let's stock the food pantry at Summit Bible Church. Drop off canned foods, toilet paper, and other household items in the caring canoe.
This Wednesday Evening:
5:30pm - Bring your meal and eat and fellowship with one another. 6:00pm - River Kids Begins and What does the Bible Say?
This Wednesday we will be looking to the Word of God to answer questions regarding predestination.
PRAYER & THANKSGIVING
Pray for The CALL this month. Pray for God to use them for His kingdom and glory. Pray for wisdom and strength for the leaders. Pray for healing for those they minister to. Pray for God to provide for their every need.
Join a Team at The River that is growing - PRAYER TEAM: Every Sunday morning at 8:20am, our prayer team gathers to pray. We meet in the second classroom in the main lobby. Come join us as we seek the Lord and present our requests to Him.
