The Heart Behind the Tongue

In the opening of service on Sundays beginning in the New Year, we will continue with Scripture Reading that focuses our attention on Christ. You will find that the verse of the week (memory verse) will come from the Scripture reading. As a church, we want to be diligent in hiding God's Word in our hearts.

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. - John 3:36

Why do we say what we say?
What is the heart behind our words? Are we (Christians) to judge one another or not? What does it mean to judge one another?

James 4:10-12 will be our text for this Sunday. These verses will require us to look further into Scripture for a clear understanding of James’ instruction. The following passages will be helpful in your preparation for Sunday’s sermon:

May the Spirit of God help us (the people of God) by giving us understanding of the Word of God, so that we might live for the glory of God.
