The Steadfast Love of God
One of the attributes of God's character we have seen in Exodus 34:6 and in Joel 2:13 is of how He is abounding in steadfast love. How often do we flippantly use the word love to describe our favorite sports team, food, or someone we love? How often does that flippancy leak into our understanding of God's love? This Sunday we will be studying the steadfast love of God in Psalm 136 to be reminded of who God is and what He has done for us. Let us not be like the Israelites who forgot the wondrous works of God (Ps. 106:7) and let us strive to understand more of who He is and His steadfast love, so that we can worship and serve Him more fully.
