The Teacher we need

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

-THIS SUNDAY'S TEXT- The Teacher we need

It does not take much for me to be reminded of how needy I am and how faithful God is. These last two months have provided many opportunities for me to clearly see these two realities. While my neediness may be alarming at times, I am so thankful to our faithful God for who He is!!! Because of who He is, His work is wonderful.

Our focus this Sunday will be on John 14:15-31, John 16:4-15, and 1 Thess. 5:19-24. Make a list of that is revealed about the Holy Spirit. Spend time praying, giving thanks to God for sending us His Spirit.

-CONSIDER & MEDITATE- While we will not cover all these passages this Sunday, in preparation for this Sunday, I encourage you to read the following passages:

Romans 1:18-32 Ephesians 2:1-3 Titus 3:3 1 Corinthians 2:3-16

-PRAYER & THANKSGIVING- One of the characteristics of a Biblical discipleship is Spirit-Led. Pray that we would be a Spirit-Led people at The River Bible Church. Pray that we would develop relationships through which we engage one another as we walk according to the Spirit. May our relationships abound in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
