The Christian life cannot be lived in isolation.
The New Testament is full of "one another" commands that cannot be obeyed apart from community. At The River, Sunday School Classes and weekly Small Groups exist to
EQUIP THE SAINTS by encouraging each other in faithfulness to the Lord through
studying the Word together, carrying one another's burdens & living on mission
as a community grounded in the gospel.

The Encouragers

The Encouragers is a welcoming, multi-generational community of adults in all seasons of life who gather weekly for Bible study, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We explore Scripture together in a way that is engaging and applicable to everyday life. We would love for you to join us Sunday in the main sanctuary.



Backstage Bible Study

We take backstage while
Christ takes center stage.
Our eclectic mix of young and old, married and single, college to retired, welcomes anyone who desires to dig into the Word of God.
We enjoy discussing recent sermons, as well as going through books of the Bible, verse by verse, and doing life together.
Come join us this Sunday behind
the sanctuary stage.

The Engagers

We love to engage our hearts and minds with some of the harder books of the Bible leading to practical life lessons and application. We have studied the books of Daniel, Isaiah, Revelation, Ezekiel, and are currently studying Hebrews. We are a mix of generations and welcome all. Come join the fun in

We are a co-ed group of all ages taking a closer look at the letters of Paul and how the rich theology of his letters shapes our understanding of the gospel and affects our daily lives.  Join us Sunday morning in Lobby Classroom #1.

Bring your breakfast and coffee and dive into a book
of the Bible with us as we study, pray,
and fellowship together.
We meet in the main church lobby at
5:30 every Thursday morning.

Young Adult Life

We are a co-ed group of young adults who
have graduated high-school (18ish) through 25ish.
We gather weekly to fellowship over a meal
and study the Bible together.
We dive deep into topics that our generation is
seeking the Truth on.

Friday morning joy

A Women's small group Bible study and discipleship band.
We are committed to studying God's Word and to encouraging
one another in the faith. We study entire books of the
New and Old Testament using the study method
described in Jen Wilkin's book, Women of the Word.
We would love to have you join us Friday morning
9:30-11:30 Classroom 1 in the main lobby.
